The strength of this kanji-learning app are the mnemonic phrases!
The kanji are divided into their components (radicals), explained individually and for learning a mnemonic phrase is offered. The mnemonics are (wherever possible) based on the correct etymological background.
For learning, you can select the radical and thus learn all the characters in this group. An example: This character 臼 is understood as a mortar and is formed by two hands E, 彐 (with the fingers pointing inwards). As this mortar 臼 is defined as a radical, you can easily learn by selecting all characters that comprise this radical. Due to the large number of radicals (more than 540), the mnemonics / memory phrases are particularly meaningful.
You can learn with a reading or a writing training. When you learn with the "writing training", you draw the hanzi with your finger and get a feedback if the stroke was wrong. You can control your learning success in the statistics.
